Did you ever imagine entertaining the idea of “doing a little karaoke?” What, in public? In front of people? Never! Yet, like a magnet, I am attracted to this thing called the ‘microphone’! What the heck, let’s give it a shot! However, there are some tips and tricks to provide a more positive karaoke experience – here are a few!
- Practice your Karaoke Style: Choose a signature song, a well-known song in your vocal range that people are sure to know 😀
- Practice at home: If you can get a hold of a karaoke machine for your home, get one! It does come with a caveat: They are addicting!
- Work on your voice: Singing is a physical activity, just as if you were training with weights or running. It is amazing how this wonderful muscle works when stimulated!
- Sing the words: Really listen to the words you are singing – bring out the emotion, sing them with feeling and meaning!
